Great Grand Parents

Enjoying playing peek a boo and clamping and waving with their great granddaughter...

I think everyone needs to start saving there money we only have 3 more months till Izabella's first Birthday....

I swear we are little angels👼

We would never do anything wrong,,, oh no way!!!!

Izabella gets passed around so much!!!

But actually I think she loves every moment of it. She gets lots of hugs and kisses from everyone. But I truly think that she happily goes to everyone in hopes that they will give her something to eat.... Ooops then she sees her mommy and she knows mommy always has the good stuff ready for her...

Izabella loved meeting her new Cousins

Every time Cousin Gene Allen would hold her we would give her broccoli to eat and make a mess under him. It was funny picking on Gene Allen and telling him how messy he was.
Now for Aunt Connie she sure did have a way with Izabella, she was so content hanging with Connie. It could be Connie has had lots of practice with all her Grand Children💗

Golden Corral Buffet

Uncle Don and Aunt Margo spending time with their Niece Connie and Nephew Gene Allen Moore... They out ran a tornado to get here... 🚙💨
Nancy, Tiffany, Daniel, Izabella, Karl and I, are enjoying spending time with them as well... Lots of good food and lots of talk about the oldie but goodie times.
So true, so true..... But I do have to mention that Nancy, Debbie, and Pamela are a lot older then me so they must really really NOT care....LOL

What An Amazing Day 4-14-12

It started out, I got to spend quality time with my granddaughter.
We had so much fun. We read books, played with every toy Mommy and Daddy brought over, when we ran out of toys we started playing peek a boo with the clothes that was in the diaper bag, we ate lots of apple slices, and pulled Chalady's hair, but Chinaco moved to quick so Izabella didn't like him.
Oh did I mention that Izabella loves Mommy's frozen milk.
I had a heck of a time getting her to give it to me so Uncle Karl could put it in the freezer. I am pretty sure the reason why she likes it frozen is because her two top teeth are almost completely in. She has a space between them like her Mommy and I had when we were little.

We only took an hour nap and we were ready to start playing again.

We video chatted Great Aunt Nancy and Great Uncle Paul, and now that Izabella knows how to wave and clap, that was a lot of fun. She kept talking away to Aunt Nancy which made them laugh at each other.
Izabella's Mommy and Daddy showed up and her Daddy took her home, because Tiffany, Geraldine, Taylor (friend) and I are going to the movies...
Thank you Tiffany and Daniel for trusting me to take care of your daughter. It means the world to me.

TITANTIC in 3D 4-14-12

Titanic is an epic, action-packed romance set against the ill-fated maiden voyage of the R.M.S. Titanic, the pride and joy of the White Star Line and, at the time, the largest moving object ever built. She was the most luxurious liner of her era -- the ship of dreams -- which ultimately carried over 1,500 people to their death in the ice cold waters of the North Atlantic in the early hours of April 15, 1912.

I couldn't have asked for a better movie to go see. The experience was unexplainable. I haven't been to a movie in a movie theater in many many years. I was so excited I think I was talking every one's ears off.  I really was surprised the people    sitting in front of us didn't turn around and tell me to be quite. There was even a husband and wife that were dressed in costume from the movie.
The 3D glasses were really weird to wear, I am so used to putting my glasses on top of my head that every once in awhile I would notice that I wasn't wearing them and nothing was in 3D.  Tiffany was sitting next to me and I am sure she will have a bruise on her leg from me smacking it.
The girls wanted to sit all the way in the back of the theater so we would be able to see the entire movie screen.  Well the screen was so big and with the 3D I am sure that anywhere we sat, we would have been able to see the actresses and actors big beautiful blue eyes. The 3D made me feel like I was really sitting at the table eating and talking with the people in the movie. I felt so much like a part of the movie.
When the ship started sinking and everyone was running around trying to get out, the theater seemed to get really hot. And then when everyone was in the water and shivering, it started getting extremely cold in there. My nose felt frozen. That was so weird. There is so many thoughts and feelings about this movie that I can't even put them into words.

After a bucket of popcorn and a very large soda not to mention several tissues later,  this was the best movie I have ever seen.  I am so happy I was able to experience it with my daughter and Geraldine and their friend Taylor.  Through the whole movie I just couldn't stop thinking that I have to take my parents to see this movie, specially in 3D.
And boy did I need a cigarette after the movie. But Geraldine wouldn't let me have one.
She bought me 3 bags of Green Apple and Carmel suckers.
So when I got home I ate one and it took care of the craving.
Thanks Geraldine.

Thanks Kids Love You Too

I know I taught my kids to share when they were little. But sharing the stomach flu, REALLY
Karl was sick early last week with the stomach flu and I followed the poor kid around the house with Clorox wipes.
Tiffany had the stomach flu last Friday, really bad, but was all better to go shopping on Saturday.
And Karl brought home some spiral ham from his work Sunday for me. It was really good... But that night is when I got so SICK... I didn't know if I had the stomach flu or food poisoning...
I'm pretty sure my son wasn't trying to poison me so the blame goes to Tiffany!!!! Thanks
I sure hope no one else gets this stomach thing it sucks....

My Easter Bunny

Happy Easter

The kids stopped by so I could see them all dressed up for Easter. Izabella has already had a long day so she was sound to sleep. I crawled in the back seat so I could see her.

Daniel and Tiffany were all dressed up, looking beautiful and handsome, and Izabella had on the cutest Easter dress.

They brought me a couple of Easter Eggs. Of course those won't last long.

Loving Half Price Day at Goodwill

Tiffany and Izabella invited me to go with them to the grand opening of Goodwill.  There were people waiting outside to get in.  After we paid for everything that just jumped in my cart we met up with Daniel and Geraldine for breakfast at Ihop. Target just happened to be within walking distance so we had to go in.  Izabella was so tired (me too) but we all walked around until we found the patio furniture. Tiffany feed Izabella and then I took her and rocked her to sleep. I almost fell a sleep holding her. What a fun day.

Karl found some pictures of him and his sister from years and years ago

The first picture was taken in February of 1989 and the other ond was taken in February of 1990.

They sure were cute when they were cleaned up....

The more I look at Izabella the more she looks like Tiffany and Karl.

I finally quit smoking!!!!
38 years ago I started smoking. I remember, I was in high school and I asked my Dad if I could smoke in front of him. He wasn't to happy but really what could he do, Mom, Dad and Nancy all smoked so he said okay.
I have tried to stop smoking many times before but never had any luck. With the price of cigarettes and not having a job, I decided it was time to give it up. I asked my doctor for a Chantix prescription, she laughed at me because this is the second time I asked for the stop smoking medication. Obviously the first time didn't work.
I am very proud to say,
that as of today,
I have been smoke free for 63 days.
I have to say that quiting smoking has been more of a challenge then when I raised my children. Every second of every day I think about smoking. Smoking consumed 95% of my life. I would get up in the morning and have a cigarette, I would go shopping and 10 minutes of being in the store I wanted a cigarette. Every time a commercial would come on the TV, I would run outside to have a cigarette. Driving my car, I had to have a cigarette. When I would go to bed at night I would get up 3 hours later because I needed a cigarette.
My friend Debbie and I would go to the gym and work out, but what do we do the second we step out of the door at the gym, yep we would light up a cigarette. Thinking about that now, how dumb of us. My Dad always would say it takes will power and the 15 minute rule works. Nope, sorry Dad I'm just not as strong as you. Looking back when you stopped smoking and sat at the kitchen table with all of us sitting there smoking around you after dinner. YOU ARE THE STRONGEST MAN I WILL EVER KNOW!!!!
So I figure you have an idea now how smoking is not just a habit that can be stopped easily. Smoking is a drug and I am addicted. You can not just stop something that you have done over half your life just like that, you have to take it one day at a time. I talk about smoking to my family and friends all the time.
When I first stopped smoking I pretty much stayed away from everyone for the first month. I was afraid that I would get angry and yell at someone for no reason at all. Supposedly this stop smoking medication will help with the urges of wanting a cigarette. Well it does but it makes you irritable, sleep deprived and the craziest dreams you could imagine.
I am hoping that in a couple for months I will have my addiction under control and will be able to continue on with my life. Until then if I yell at you or haven't been around a lot lately know that I am working hard to become a NONSMOKER and I am Sorry for hurting your feelings.

PRICELESS

I love shopping with Tiffany and Izabella.
They wear me out, and my back always hurts
 when I get home,
but I wouldn't change a moment of it.
Spending time with my daughter and granddaughter is so worth it.
And Diffidently Priceless
