Wore my parents out today

Started out today taking my Dad to fill his new prescriptions and that took 2 1/2 hours. There was some kind of problem with his insurance, but it turned out okay he got his prescriptions. Then I took Mom to her radiation appointment and the doctor thinks that she has bronchitis. Mom seemed a little more tired today then normal but I think it's because she was up half the night coughing. The doctor gave her a prescription for antibiotics. He is hoping that he caught the infection early before it turns into pneumonia. Bet you can't guess where I went after Mom's treatment. Yep I went back to the pharmacy. They were worried that they forgot to fill a prescription for my Dad and I said nope this one is for my Mom. They also told me that my Dad is funny and he makes them laugh. What they didn't know is that he was not feeling good because his allergies were in full force. He was sneezing and chasing his nose all over the pharmacy.

Mom's Radiation Treatments

So far Mom seems to be tolerating the radiation treatments very well.  She has been a little more tired then usual but I think that is because of all the traveling around we have been doing lately. Nancy has been able to take Mom for her treatments this week because they have been so late in the evening. Starting Friday they will be early in the morning and I think that will make a big difference for Mom. She only has 21 more treatments to go. YAY!!

Thank God for Bud Light

I took Dad to his Dr appointment today, The doctor thinks Dad is doing great, but his blood pressure is still too high. So she upped the dose of his blood pressure medication. He was taking Coumadin and going for blood draws twice a week, Dad tells everyone that he has so many wholes in his arms that when he drinks a beer it squirts right out. Well the Dr's have been trying for a month now to get the coumadin levels right and no success, so they are taking him off it and putting him on a different blood thinner. Of course Dad is heart broken because he won't be able to see those cute girls at the lab!!!

Prince Charming

My friend Debbie is hoping by kissing a frog it will bring her the Prince Charming she has been looking for. Good Luck with that!!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY DAD

Today is my Dad's Birthday and he had to get his blood drawn. Then he made Mom and I an awesome pot roast with all the fixings. I did pick him up a chocolate Easter Bunny.

My Dad had a Doctor appointment today and his doctor says he is doing great. No blockages in his arteries.

Nancy and I took Mom out for a day of pampering before her second radiation treatment. Then the three of us watched the movie Grease while we waited for them to call her back for her treatment. We laughed through most of it.

There was 2 bushes, I cut down one and Nancy was suppose to cut down the other one but she was saved from having to do it by her Favorite Nephew Karl.
